AlwaysON strengthens sales operation with appointment of new Sales Director

AlwaysON has announced the appointment of Russell Parker as Sales Director. This appointment is part of AlwaysON's focus to strengthen its sales operation in the UK.

Russell will be responsible for the recruitment, building and retaining of the AlwaysON's sales force by implementing a KPI's driven personal development program for the team. Additionally, he will focus on acquiring, and retaining key customer relationships within AlwaysON's target markets.

Commenting on Russell's appointment, George Zaremba, AlwaysON's CEO stated, "Russell's leadership skills and track record will enable AlwaysON to further strengthen our position in this increasingly competitive market. The job to build and develop an effective sales team is critical. The success of the business hinges on getting the right people and developing the individuals."

Having worked in the telecommunication industry for over 20 years, Russell brings to AlwaysON a wealth of sales experience, extensive knowledge of the sector and converged voice and data solutions. Russell's past employments include a CEO position for Hosted IP Communications vendor HIPcom, VP of International Sales for Cayman Systems, VP of European Sales for Lanart Corporation and Account Director for IFS, now part of GE Security.

Russell has also worked as an IP Consultant on major industry projects in the security, government and construction markets. Have been successful with Converged Communications Solutions for voice, video and data at Manchester Airport, Stormont - The Northern Irish Assembly, Media City Manchester, Torness Power Station, Nottingham Prison, Astra Zeneca and have worked with major suppliers such as Mc Alpine Construction, Chubb Security, Siemens Building Technologies, Honeywell Process Controls, Security Services Group SSG and VIS Systems.
