PSTN
Public Switched Telephone NetworkThe public switched telephone network (PSTN) is the network of the world's public circuit-switched telephone networks. Originally a network of fixed-line analog telephone systems, the PSTN is now almost entirely digital in its core and includes mobile as well as fixed telephones. The combination of the interconnected networks and the single numbering plan make it possible for any phone in the world to dial any other phone.
Private Cloud
Private CloudThe term private cloud is used interchangeably with private network and refers to the network infrastructure utilised by an organisation. In the case of alwaysON, our private cloud refers to our high capacity, fully resilient, mulit-gigabit MPLS core network. It is also used to describe the private networks we deploy for our customers across our own network.
